Saginaw, Mich.-based Covenant HealthCare announced plans for a $4 million new cancer center at its Covenant HealthCare Mackinaw facility in Saginaw.
The hospital has begun renovations to create a unified center that will offer radiation therapy, research, nutrition services, social work services, support groups, spiritual care and an education resource center.
The center will be located in the hospital and will house an infusion suite with procedural and examination rooms, an oncology suite, a pharmacy, a library and physician and staff offices.
The project is expected to be completed at the end of January 2013.
