Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota in St. Paul and Minneapolis has opened its new Peter J. King Pediatric Emergency Department on its St. Paul campus, according to a Pioneer Press report.
Part of the new ED was completed last year when Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota finished a $65 million patient care tower. The rest of the new ED was completed through a renovation of the hospital's old ED.
The new pediatric ED includes an expanded triage area and three new exam rooms for low-acuity patients.
