Arkansas Children's, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Open New Center

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children's Hospital, both in Little Rock, have opened the new Centers for Children in Jonesboro, Ark., according to an Arkansasmatters.com report.

The facility will initially offer neurology and cardiology clinics, and will provide additional services in the future, based on volume and feedback from local physicians.

The UAMS/ACH Centers for Children was developed through a collaboration between the UAMS department of pediatrics and ACH, which have partnered on other pediatric services in the past, according to the report.
