Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, Ariz., has gone live with a new central monitor station designed to help hospital technicians more closely monitor cardiac patients, according to an Arizona Republic report.
The stations allow technicians to observe continuous heart monitoring while patients remain in their rooms. This way, technicians can catch even subtle changes in patients' conditions that may not otherwise trigger an alert.
