Oakland, Calif.-based SEIU's United Healthcare Workers West local has reached a tentative agreement with Tenet Healthcare Corp. over worker contracts at nine of the hospital operator's facilities in California, according to a San Francisco Business Times report.
The tentative three-year deal would give SEIU workers, including nurse assistants, respiratory therapists and ER technicians, a pay increase of 18 percent over the three years and preserve health benefits.
Union members are expected to ratify the contract on June 6, according to the report.
