Hospital Prices Drop 0.2% From January to February

Overall hospital prices dropped 0.2% from Jan. 2011 to Feb. 2011, but were 1.4% higher in February than a year ago, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Producer Price Index, which measures average changes in selling prices received by producers for their products and services.

Overall prices for physicians' offices were up 0.9 percent from January to February and were up 1.8 percent versus a year ago.
