The new St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colo., is now fully operational after a weekend of transferring patients and equipment and opening the facility's emergency department, according to a hospital news release.
St. Anthony Hospital opened an entirely new facility on 50 acres of land to allow room for the new hospital, OrthoColorado Hospital and two medical office plazas, in addition to space for future growth. The hospital features 222 private inpatient rooms and 14 surgical suites, and the emergency department is triple the size of the previous location.
