Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass., will be constructing a 28,000-square-foot healthcare facility in Waltham, Mass., with an anticipated opening in 2012, according to a hospital news release.
The new facility, Mount Auburn Healthcare at Waltham, will house the hospital’s bariatric medicine and surgical practice; an eight-person primary care practice, an OB/GYN practice, Mount Auburn radiology and laboratory services; and two specialty physician suites. The facility is being built to increase access to primary care as well as grow key specialties, such as bariatric and OB/GYN services.
