Universal Health Services in King of Prussia, Pa., has announced Barry Wolfman as CEO and managing director of George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., effective April 23.
Mr. Wolfman has served as a healthcare executive for 27 years. He most recently served as CEO of Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif. Prior to that Mr. Wolfman was with Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente where he served as senior vice president and executive director of Fontana (Calif.) Medical Center and Ontario (Calif.) Vineyard Medical Center.
