Tulare (Calif.) Local Healthcare District's board has fired Tulare Regional Medical Center's interim CEO Kevin Shimamoto and rehired former CEO Shawn Bolouki, according to a Visalia Times-Delta report.
The motion to fire Mr. Shimamoto passed 4-1 at the board meeting on Dec. 10. No reason for his termination was given by the board, according to the report.
Mr. Bolouki originally left the hospital in April, but the reason for his departure has not been released.
Mr. Shimamoto took over as the hospital's interim CEO in July.
