Gene Green, MD, has been named president of Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md., a member of Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Dr. Green is currently the CMO and vice president of medical affairs for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, a 400-physician multi-specialty group. He joined JHCP in 2003.
Dr. Green will replace Brian Gragnolati, who will become the full-time senior vice president of Johns Hopkins Health System.
The move is effective Feb. 1, according to a Washington Business Journal report.
