Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, Md., has promoted Leslie Simmons, RN, BSN, MA, to executive vice president and COO, effective July 1.
Most recently, Ms. Simmons served as senior vice president and COO of the hospital. Her promotion begins the succession process developed by the hospital's board of directors to provide Ms. Simmons the opportunity to transition into the president and CEO role by the year 2015, according to the report.
