Mohan Suntha, MD, MBA, has been named president and CEO of the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, Md., pending the transfer of the current St. Joseph Medical Center to the University of Maryland Medical System.
Dr. Suntha is the vice chairman of the department of radiation oncology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore as well as a professor of radiation oncology and the associate director of clinical affairs at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenbaum Cancer Center.
Dr. Suntha has been a part of the UMMS transition team working on the acquisition of St. Joseph Medical Center.
