Thompson Health in Canandaigua, N.Y., has named Michael Stapleton president and CEO.
Mr. Stapleton will assume the role July 1, replacing current CEO Linda Farchione, who will retire at the end of June. Mr. Stapleton most recently served as Thompson Health's executive vice president and COO. He has also served as CEO of Lakeside Health System in Brockport, N.Y. Prior to his time at Lakeside, Mr. Stapleton held several management positions at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y.
