Robert Esker, COO of St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Ill., has announced he will retire at the end of the year, according to an Effingham Daily News report.
Mr. Esker's announcement comes one week after former president and CEO Dan Woods announced his sudden resignation from the hospital.
Mr. Esker has been with the hospital for 26 years. Until his retirement in December, Mr. Esker will be assuming the role of senior adviser to help with the transition to a new leadership team, according to the report.
