Southern Coos Hospital in Bandon, Ore., has launched a search for a new CEO and has retained B. E. Smith to lead the national search.
The new CEO will replace Jim Wathen, who was dismissed by the board in July after 17 years of service.
The critical access hospital is operated by the Southern Coos Health District and was built in 1999. The new CEO will lead the development and implementation of a strategic plan and position the organization for the future healthcare environment.
