RWJBarnabas Health in West Orange, N.J., has tapped Frank A. Ghinassi, PhD, ABPP, to serve as senior vice president of its behavioral health and addictions service line.
Dr. Ghinassi also will remain president and CEO of Rutgers Health University Behavioral Health Care, based in Piscataway, N.J., according to a news release.
He previously worked at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC in Pittsburgh, as vice president for quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance and health information management. He was chief of adult psychiatric services at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic/University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine; clinical director of the mental health division of Boston-based May Institute; and director of mood and anxiety partial hospitalization and residential services at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Ghinassi is a licensed psychologist and board-certified executive coach.
