Larry Cohen, the former CEO of Ocean Beach Hospital in Ilwaco, Wash., has come out of retirement to helm the organization in an interim capacity, according to the Chinook Observer.
The OBH Board of Commissions selected Mr. Cohen as CEO of the public hospital during an April 19 special meeting. He will succeed Scott Attridge, who stepped down from the role due to a health issue.
Mr. Cohen spent more than six years as CEO of Ocean Beach Hospital before retiring in August 2022. Prior to this role, he owned LJC Consulting, a firm offering consulting services for hospitals, clinics, diagnostic imaging joint ventures and healthcare facilities in development, according to the report.
He officially stepped into the interim CEO role April 22.
