Rod Hochman, MD, will become president and CEO of Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services three months earlier than expected, according to a Puget Sound Business Journal report.
In February, the system announced Dr. Hochman would replace the retiring John Koster, MD, as president and CEO in July. Now, according to the report, Dr. Hochman will take over in April and Dr. Koster will be Providence's CEO emeritus until he retires at the end of the year.
