New York City-based NYC Health + Hospitals hired Kevin Lynch to serve as senior vice president and CIO, effective in January.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Lynch most recently served as CIO for Los Angeles County's Department of Health Services.
2. He also had expanded responsibilities for the county's Department of Mental Health, Department of Public Health and Integrated Correctional Health Services.
3. His previous experience includes serving as corporate director at Jackson Health System in Miami.
4. He brings 25 years of health IT leadership experience to NYC Health + Hospitals, the nation's largest public healthcare system.
