Amanda Shurtz, MSN, RN, was named interim CEO of Alta Vista Hospital in Las Vegas, N.M.
Ms. Shurtz brings 32 years of healthcare experience to the role, according to a July 30 hospital news release shared with Becker's.
She succeeds Rob Nelson, who will return to his home in Mississippi, according to the release.
Alta Vista Hospital is a 54-bed facility.
