The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, N.C., has tapped Preston Hammock to serve as president.
Mr. Hammock has served as interim president of the hospital since May. He is also a senior vice president at Greensboro-based Cone Health, the hospital's parent. He was previously president of Cone Health's Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, N.C.
He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a board member for the South Atlantic Healthcare Alliance.
Mr. Hammock holds a master's degree in health care administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
