Merging health systems Edward Hospital and Health Services in Naperville, Ill., and Elmhurst (Ill.) Memorial Healthcare have announced the appointment of Mary Lou Mastro, RN, as president of Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare and Jim Doyle as chief transition officer.
Ms. Mastro has served as president of Linden Oaks at Edward in Naperville since 2008. She will be replaced by Controller Gina Sharp.
Mr. Doyle currently serves as acting president and CEO of Elmhurst Memorial.
The merger between the two systems is expected to take effect July 1.
