Stephen B. Bonner will assume a new role as executive chairman of Schaumburg, Ill.-based Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and his former role of president and CEO will be filled by Gerard van Grinsven.
Mr. Bonner has served as president and CEO of CTCA since 1999. As executive chairman, he will serve as CTCA's senior executive, leading the company's value commitment strategic objectives and preparing Mr. van Grinsven to succeed him.
Mr. van Grinsven has served as president and CEO of the Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital in Detroit for the past seven years. Prior to that, he was an executive with luxury hotel chain Ritz Carlton.
