Amy Frankowski, MD, has been named medical director of Cincinnati-based Mercy Health Select, the accountable care organization of Mercy Health, according to a report by the Cincinnati Enquirer.
In her new role, Dr. Frankowski will provide oversight for the development of quality and process improvement for the ACO. She will also drive care coordination, deploy evidence-based guidelines and define team care, among other responsibilities, according to the report.
Dr. Frankowski will continue to serve as senior medical director for clinical integration of Mercy Health Physicians. She will also continue practicing as a primary care physician, according to the report.
