Brian Burnside, president and CEO of Marshalltown (Iowa) Medical & Surgical Center, has announced plans to resign at the end of the month, according to a Times-Republican report.
According to the report, the resignation was a "joint decision" between Mr. Burnside and the hospital's board. Mr. Burnside will move into an advisor position after his resignation.
Mr. Burnside will be replaced by John Hughes, MMSC's COO, according to the report.
