Ralph Gabarro, president and CEO of Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, has announced his plans to retire at the end of October, according to a Bangor Daily News report.
Mr. Gabarro has served at the helm of the hospital since 1997. He has held leadership posts at other healthcare organizations, including Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, N.H., Mid-Maine Medical Center in Waterville, Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home in Greenville, Maine, and Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln, Maine.
A successor has not yet been named.
