Pen Bay Healthcare, based in Rockport, Maine, has selected Wade C. Johnson as its new CEO.
Mr. Johnson, who has 19 years of experience in healthcare and business, most recently served as CEO at Weiser (Idaho) Memorial Hospital. Mr. Johnson will replace Roy Hitchings, who has served at the helm of Pen Bay for more than 13 years. Mr. Hitchings announced his retirement in April and will leave Pen Bay in February.
