Steen Trawick, MD, will step down from his role as CEO and chief medical officer of Christus Shreveport-Bossier Health System on Dec. 1, the health system confirmed to Becker's.
Dr. Trawick has led the Shreveport, La.-based health system in a dual capacity since 2019, according to a Nov. 16 statement from Dallas-based Christus Health. No reason was given for his departure.
"During Dr. Trawick's tenure, he has advanced the quality of medicine at all of our North Louisiana ministries and successfully led the organization through the pandemic," the statement said. "We thank him for his dedication and wish him well in his future endeavors."
