Larry Coomes has announced his resignation as CEO of Palmdale (Calif.) Regional Medical Center, effective Aug. 1, according to a San Fernando Valley Business Journal report.
Mr. Coomes was appointed as CEO in May. Prior to that, he held positions at Auburn (Wash.) Regional Medical Center and West Boca Medical Center in Boca Raton, Fla.
Current COO of Palmdale Regional Karen Faulis will assume responsibility for the operations of the hospital in the interim, according to the report.
