Thompson Health in Canadaigua, N.Y., has announced that Kurt Koczent, a former Thompson Health vice president, will return to the health system as executive vice president and COO.
Mr. Koczent was previously the vice president of outpatient and diagnostic services and the director of practice management at Thompson Health. Most recently, Mr. Koczent was the chief administrative officer of Finger Lakes Health Medical in Geneva, N.Y.
Mr. Koczent is a registered nurse and served 10 years in the U.S. Army Reserve. He is replacing Michael Stapleton, Jr., who was named president and CEO of Thompson Health earlier this year.
