The Greater Hudson Valley Health System, based in Middletown, N.Y., has appointed Joanne Ritter-Teitel CNO, according to a health system news release.
As CNO, Ms. Ritter-Teitel is responsible for providing nursing leadership throughout the system as well as oversight for nursing practice, nursing standards and patient care delivery.
Ms. Ritter-Teitel most recently served as chief nurse executive for Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. Additionally, she held the position of nurse leader at Princeton Healthcare System and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey.
