CEO Steven Strongwater of N.Y.'s Stony Brook University Medical Center Resigns

Stony Brook (N.Y.) University Medical Center President and CEO Steven L. Strongwater, MD, will resign on Nov. 15, according to a Statesman report.

Dr. Strongwater has served at the helm of SBUMC for nearly five years. Fred Sganga, director of the Long Island State Veterans Home at Stony Brook, will serve as interim CEO until a permanent replacement is found.
