Illinois hospital taps chief nursing officer

Jenee Wilson, RN, has been appointed chief nursing officer of McLeansboro, Ill.-based Hamilton Memorial Hospital after serving in the role on an interim basis since Aug. 1.

She succeeds Patty Blazier, RN, who retired July 31, according to an Oct. 1 news release from the hospital.

Ms. Wilson joined the hospital in 2017 as an emergency department nurse and became quality and risk management director in 2021. In her most recent role, Ms. Wilson led the patient care coordination department, the release said.
