St. Louis-based Ascension appointed Tim Adams to lead Ascension Tennessee.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Adams formerly served as CEO of the 26-hospital Texas Region at Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.
2. He also has previous experience serving as CEO at Cedar Park (Texas) Regional Medical Center, a partner of Ascension's Seton Healthcare Family as well as division vice president at Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.
3. He has served on the Texas Hospital Association's board of directors and executive committee.
4. He holds an MBA from The University of Texas at El Paso.
