St. David's Medical Center in Austin, Texas, appointed David McKnight CFO, effective Dec. 30, 2022.
Mr. McKnight has more than a decade of experience in hospital leadership. Most recently, he was CEO of Johnston-Willis Hospital, a 293-bed facility in Richmond, Va.
Before that, he spent six years at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg, Va., where he served as CFO and later as CEO. Previously, he served as assistant vice president and controller of LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Va.
"David has an extended track record of success in hospital financial and operational leadership," Todd Steward, CEO of St. David’s Medical Center, said in a Jan. 27 news release. "He understands the financial needs required to maintain exceptional patient care and will help us continue to serve the rapidly growing Austin community."
Mr. McKnight has a master's degree in business administration from Radford (Va.) University in Radford.
