Joe Dant and Sean O'Grady were promoted to newly created system roles at Evanston, Ill.-based Endeavor Health.
Mr. Dant and Mr. O'Grady each bring more than three decades of healthcare leadership experience to their new roles, according to an Aug. 28 news release from Endeavor.
Mr. Dant, who most recently served as president of the South Region and Institutes, including Edward, Elmhurst and Linden Oaks hospitals, was appointed chief growth officer of Endeavor Health.
Mr. O'Grady, who was most recently president of the North Region and Institutes, including Evanston, Highland Park, Glenbrook, Northwest Community, Skokie and Swedish hospitals, was appointed president of acute and ambulatory operations for the health system. He will also maintain his leadership of the Endeavor Health Research Institute and Academic Affairs Office, according to the release.
The newly created roles are designed "to support the organization's continued growth and operational excellence as one system," according to Endeavor Health.

In 2023, NorthShore University HealthSystem, Edward-Elmhurst Health, Swedish Hospital and Northwest Community Healthcare united under one name: Endeavor Health.
Endeavor Health includes nine hospitals: Edward (Naperville), Elmhurst, Evanston, Glenbrook (Glenview), Highland Park, Northwest Community (Arlington Heights), Skokie, Swedish (Chicago) and Linden Oaks Behavioral Health Hospital (Naperville).
