Duke taps Mass General exec for 3 leadership roles

Gregory Pauly was selected as group president of acute care services for Duke University Health System; president of Duke University Hospital; and vice dean for clinical and academic Integration at Duke University School of Medicine.

Mr. Pauly will begin his new roles on Jan. 31 after serving as executive vice president and COO of Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital and the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization, according to a Nov. 30 news release.

Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System is composed of Duke's hospitals and clinics, including Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital and Duke Raleigh (N.C.) Hospital campuses.

Mr. Pauly will be responsible for strategic direction, fiscal management and program development for acute care services across DUHS, according to the release.
