Robert J. Caldas, DO, has been named CMO and senior vice president of Southcoast Hospitals Group, part of Southcoast Health System based in New Bedford, Mass., according to a health system release.
Dr. Caldas has long been a practicing primary care physician in the South Coast region, most recently with Hawthorn Medical Associates in Dartmouth. Prior to that role, he practiced at the Family Wellness Center, also in Dartmouth. He has also been on the medical staff St. Luke's Hospital, a Southcoast Health hospital in New Bedford, for more than 20 years.
