Jonathan A. Leviss, MD, has been named Rhode Island Quality Institute's first chief medical officer.
In his new role, Dr. Leviss will work closely with the RIQI board and executive leadership on strategic initiatives. Dr. Leviss previously served as chair of RIQI's Health IT Physician Advisory Committee and has practiced as a primary care physician at Thundermist Health Center in West Warwick, R.I., since 2005.
