Martin Tursky, president and CEO of Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in Pawtucket, has announced his resignation, effective June 30, to serve as president and CEO of Firelands Regional Health System in Sandusky, Ohio.
Mr. Tursky will begin serving Firelands Regional Health July 1. He was appointed as president and CEO of Memorial Hospital in October 2011, after serving as the hospital's executive vice president and COO for a year. Mr. Tursky has over 14 years of healthcare leadership experience. Arthur Deblois III will serve as acting president while Memorial Hospital searches for a permanent replacement, according to a Providence Business News report.
