Donald J. Frederic has been appointed CEO of Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center, a Capella Healthcare facility in Russellville, Ark., according to a Courier report.
Mr. Frederic currently serves as president and CEO of Louisiana Medical Center and Heart Hospital in Lacombe, La., a role he has filled since Jan. 2009. His appointment will allow Mike McCoy, who has been serving as both CEO and COO, to focus solely on his COO duties.
Mr. Frederic's appointment is effective Jan. 16.
