Jeff Johnston, CEO of St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., will leave his post to become CEO of St. John's Mercy in St. Louis, according to a City Wire report.
Mr. Johnston has served as St. Edward Mercy's CEO since Dec. 2008. His executive duties with St. John's Mercy begin on Sept. 1. Kim Day, president of Mercy Central Communities, will serve as CEO of St. Edward Mercy on an interim basis while officials search for a permanent replacement.
