Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, Calif., has announced the retirement of president and CEO Karolee Sowle, effective August 1, according to a Desert Sun report.
Ms. Sowle has served Desert Regional as CEO for almost six years. She began her career at Desert Regional as CNO in 1997 and was promoted to COO in 2003. Ms. Sowle's retirement is the culmination of a 50-year career in the healthcare field.
