Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, N.Y., has announced that its current COO, Jay Cahalan, will take over the CEO position from Jane Ehrlich at the end of this year, according to a Hudson-Catskill Newspapers report.
Ms. Ehrlich's contract will expire at the end of 2012. She told the board she would not be renewing the contract last year. Ms. Ehrlich will continue to serve as CEO until Dec. 31.
Both Ms. Ehrlich and Mr. Cahalan have been at Columbia Memorial since 1994.
