Connie Blietz, CNO at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, announced her retirement retire effective Jan. 29, according to a Daily Nonpareil report.
During Ms. Blietz's 24 year career with Alegent Health Mercy Hospital she served in a variety of positions before being named CNO.
Many of her co-workers laud her for embedding quality improvements into Mercy's operations, according to the report.
