Roberta Luskin-Hawk, MD, CEO of Presence St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago and Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Ill., will resign from the CEO role at the organizations.
"Presence Health is grateful for the many years of committed service Dr. Luskin-Hawk provided to our Lakeshore communities. Regarding Dr. Luskin-Hawk's personal decision to pursue new opportunities, we wish her all the best," a Presence Health spokesperson said in an emailed statement. The spokesperson confirmed Dr. Luskin-Hawk will continue to serve in an advisory capacity through the remainder of 2016.
Dr. Luskin-Hawk has led Presence St. Joseph Hospital since 2009 and Presence St. Francis Hospital since 2013. During her tenure, she spearheaded the opening of Presence St. Joseph's new 10-story outpatient building in Chicago, according to a Crain's Chicago Business report.
The health system named Sam Bagchi, MD, its current chief medical and quality officer, interim president at Presence Saint Francis Hospital. It also named Martin Judd, president and CEO of its Mid-City Chicago Region, interim president at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital. The system made these appointments until permanent replacements are selected.
