After serving as president and CEO of The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania for nearly 20 years, Carolyn F. Scanlan announced she will step down at the end of this year, according to a report in The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Ms. Scanlan is in charge of a health system association that represents nearly 250 hospitals, long-term care, home health and hospice providers operating in Pennsylvania. She has been the president and CEO of the association since June 1995.
A nationwide search for her replacement will begin soon.
