Anthony Hilliard, MD, has been named acting CEO of Loma Linda (Calif.) University Health's hospitals.
Dr. Hilliard is also chief of the division of cardiology and COO of the LLU Faculty Medical Group, according to an Oct. 1 news release from the health system.
Dr. Hilliard succeeds Trevor Wright, who took on a new role with Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth on Oct. 1, a Loma Linda University Health spokesperson confirmed.
Mr. Wright is now president and CEO of AdventHealth's southwest region, according to his LinkedIn page. He was appointed CEO of Loma Linda (Calif.) University Health hospitals in December 2021.
Loma Linda University Health has six hospital campuses and 1,046 beds.
