Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health has named Kevan Mabbutt as its new chief marketing, communications and consumer experience officer.
Mr. Mabbutt, who will report directly to the 67-hospital system's co-CEOs, Eugene Woods and Jim Skogsbergh, is being hired to define Advocate's Health's brand identity and better engage consumers, according to a Sept. 27 release.
"The depth of his expertise and experience in multiple sectors will help propel us forward in our goal to connect with the nearly 6 million patients we serve in new ways that will make access to the best care as convenient as possible," Mr. Woods said.
Mr. Mabbutt comes to Advocate Health from Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health, where he held a similar role. Before that, he was the global head of consumer insight for The Walt Disney Co.
